I am thinking to buy a car. I don’t have a huge budget. Recently I read about the seized car auctions. Is it true that I can find cheap but good cars there?

You can purchase a cheap repossessed or decommissioned vehicles at seized car auctions held in almost every State of the US for as low as $ 200. You will find not just cars, but motorcycles, RVs, trucks and other automobiles as well. These vehicles can be as new as a few months to a few years old. Since repossession takes place every day, the inventory piles up quickly and the government agencies/banks are eager to sell them away quickly to avoid depreciation and maintenance. For top of the line auction sites, you can search at this website: http://www.onlineseizedcarauction.com/index.html

An impounded car auction can be one of the best places to buy a used car. Everything from a classic 1960s cruiser to a like-new convertible sports car can be found at an impounded car auction. Sometimes you may even find the occasional foreign car. Now before we go into where you can find an impounded car auction near you, it is important that you understand how they work.
How do these cars get impounded in the first place? Well, there are many reasons these cars get impounded. Police normally repossess or seize these vehicles from convicted criminals, and also as collateral from those who fail to pay their bills. If the vehicle remains in the government’s (police department’s) possession, they will eventually be auctioned off at an impounded car auction. These auctions normally occur every 3, 6, 9, or 12 months, depending on the police department. It’s good to know that these auctions don’t just occur for seized vehicles, but for homes, boats, and basically any other items that have been seized by the police.
An impounded car auction is probably one of THE best places to find a used car. You will see a variety of people at these auctions, including the new 16-year-old driver who is looking for their first car, to the used car salesman who will buy the vehicle and get a profit by selling it for a higher price.
When you get to the impounded car auction, make sure you treat your potential purchase just as you would any other vehicle. Check it for dings, dents, and any other undesirable characteristics to make sure it is in usable condition (you don’t want to drive home a lemon!). Then once you’ve found the car of your choice, bid away!
”So where can I find an impounded car auction?”
To find an impounded car auction near you, you have two options. One good way is to call around to the various local police officers near you. They usually have a list of car auctions in your area.
I’m trying to buy a car from an auction but I am having a hard time finding auctions. Any websites where I could see the cars would be nice on auction would be nice.
Everyone in the automobile sales industry will tell you that they have the perfect deal for you. Most of the time they are just lieing to you, they want you to sign your life away on a ridiculus loan amount with high interest. The best way to find a great deal on a vehicle that most people can pay right out of there pockets is by going to a government surplus auction.
Most people ask where the government gets these cars to auction off. Well its really very simple, every year the government has to upgrade cars and trucks from the different jobs that require them throughout the country. It’s not that these cars are torn up or in bad shape, most government facilities like to keep there fleet fresh so they upgrade every four to five years.
Not only does the government get cars from there own agencies, but people donate them and also use them as tax write offs. Other businesses and schools will also do this to get tax breaks and money to fund other projects. Many places find this as a way of giving back to the community by auctioning off items and giving the people a good deal.
While a government surplus auction sounds very interesting, only a handful of people will actually attend. These types of auctions are actually all over the united states but hardly anyone knows about them. You can easily contact your local court house or sheriff to find out more information on these types of auctions.
